Diamond Power Commissions 8" MV/EHV Power Cable Production Line

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd (DPIL) has successfully commissioned its 8th 8-inch Medium Voltage (MV) / Extra High Voltage (EHV) Power Cable Production Line at its Vadodara, Gujarat facility. This expansion enhances DPIL's manufacturing capabilities in the advanced MV and EHV underground power cable segment, crucial for power transmission, renewable energy, and urban infrastructure projects. The company expects two additional MV/EHV lines to be operational by March 31, 2027, bringing the total to 10. The demand for these cables in India is robust, driven by infrastructure investments and renewable energy integration, with significant entry barriers due to technological and quality requirements.
