Dindigul Farm Product seeks Govt nod for MD's continuation post-70

Dindigul Farm Product Limited is seeking approval from the Central Government (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) to continue the appointment of Mr. Raju Rajasekaran as Managing Director, despite him having attained the age of 70 years. The company will file e-Form MR-2 for this purpose. This approval is required as the special resolution for his reappointment and revised remuneration, which was proposed to extend his tenure until December 28, 2028, did not achieve the statutory majority at the 16th Annual General Meeting held on September 30, 2026, although it received a simple majority. The company will comply with all applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI LODR Regulations.
