DSM Fresh Foods to Acquire 76% Stake in Avyom Foodtech for Rs. 8 Crores

DSM Fresh Foods Limited has approved the investment by way of acquisition of 76% equity shares of Avyom Foodtech Private Limited. The acquisition is aimed at strengthening DSM Fresh Foods Limited’s presence in the food processing and allied sector. Avyom Foodtech Private Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing, processing, preparing, freezing, packaging, branding, marketing, distributing, importing and exporting of food products. The acquisition will help Avyom Foodtech Private Limited in proposed acquisition of Ambrozia Frozen Foods operational food processing business on a going concern basis through a slump sale. The cost of acquisition/investment is up to Rs. 8 Crores.
