Easy Trip Planners Receives ₹67.41 Cr GST Show-Cause Notice

Easy Trip Planners Ltd has received a Show-Cause cum Demand Notice (SCN) from the Directorate General of Goods & Services Tax Intelligence (DGGI) for alleged non-compliance with Tax Collection at Source (TCS) under Section 52 of the CGST Act, 2017. The notice proposes a penalty of approximately ₹67.41 crore. The company is examining the SCN and will pursue legal remedies. Easy Trip Planners stated that the issue does not involve any demand for underlying GST or interest, and therefore, no revenue loss to the exchequer is anticipated. The company expects no immediate financial or operational impact.
