Eco Recycling Ltd Expands E-waste Recycling Capacity by 18,000 MTPA, Inducted into TERRA

Eco Recycling Ltd (Ecoreco) has proactively expanded its e-waste recycling capacity by 18,000 MTPA and set up a dedicated facility of 6,000 MTPA for processing lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries in a state-of-the-art 40,000 sq. ft. facility at Vasai, near Mumbai. This expansion aligns with the E-waste Management Rules, 2022, and is expected to formalize the sector further and promote environmentally sound recycling practices. Ecoreco has made the entire investment through internal accruals, making it a zero-debt company with a strategic edge over competitors. The company has also been inducted into TERRA, a prestigious international network of certified recyclers, enhancing its global standing and alignment with international ESG benchmarks.
