Eicher Motors, a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited, has announced its entry into the small commercial vehicle (SCV) segment with the global unveil of its EV-First Eicher Truck at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The company aims to revolutionize city and near-city distribution and transform last-mile logistics with its Pro Business Pro Planet range, which will be available in Clean Diesel and CNG variants. The product has been designed and developed in India and will be manufactured at the state-of-the-art facility in Bhopal, supporting the government's Make in India initiative. The company will be introducing the electric variant first, progressively moving towards clean diesel and CNG variants.
