VE Commercial Vehicles Passes on Full GST Reduction Benefit to Customers

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has announced that it will pass on the complete benefit of the revised GST rates to customers, starting from September 22, 2025. This decision coincides with the start of Navratri and will provide lower acquisition costs on Eicher’s range of modern and fuel-efficient trucks and buses. The GST on diesel, CNG, and LNG range has been reduced from 28% to 18%, while the electric range continues to enjoy a beneficial GST rate of 5%. This move is expected to ease cost pressures for truck operators, stimulate demand in freight and logistics, and encourage fleet modernization by state transport corporations and private operators. VECV customers can enjoy benefits up to Rs. 6 lakhs, depending on the product range. This initiative will help fleet operators, small businesses, and owner-drivers alike reduce their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), improve profitability, and invest in vehicles that are future ready.
