Electrosteel Castings Ltd Receives Partial Final Compensation Order for Parbatpur Central Coal Mine

Electrosteel Castings Ltd (ECL) has received a Partial Final Compensation Order from the Nominated Authority, Ministry of Coal, Government of India, in respect of compensation towards GR cost and hard cost components of Shafts and Inclines, of Parbatpur Coal Mine. The order, received on 20 November, 2025, has decided on two aspects from the Provisional Compensation Order, while two aspects are left open for subsequent decision. The final compensation of Rs. 253.04 Crores for these components will have a material impact on the financials of the Company. An amount of Rs. 34.56 Crores claimed towards preparation of updated GR is yet to be mutually settled between JSW and ECL.
