Emcure Pharmaceuticals Acquires 26% Stake in Torrent Urja 37 Private Limited for Rs. 3,71,87,740

Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited has entered into a Share Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement and Power Transfer Agreement(s) dated June 02, 2025, to acquire at least 26% of the paid-up share capital (on a fully diluted basis) of Torrent Urja 37 Private Limited (TUPL). TUPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Torrent Green Energy Private Limited and is in the process of setting up a ground mounted solar (photovoltaic) power generation facility with a capacity of 11.27 MWp. This acquisition will help Emcure meet its energy requirements at identified facilities in the state of Gujarat.
