Emergent Industrial Solutions Files Criminal Case to Recover ₹5 Cr ICD

Emergent Industrial Solutions Ltd has initiated criminal proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, against Wellspring Healthcare Private Limited and its Directors. This action follows the dishonour of cheques issued by Wellspring Healthcare for the repayment of an Inter-Corporate Deposit (ICD) of ₹5 crore extended by Emergent Industrial Solutions. The company is seeking to recover the ₹5 crore principal amount along with applicable interest and legal costs. The litigation has been filed in the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, and is currently at a preliminary stage. Emergent Industrial Solutions stated there is no immediate adverse financial impact and it is actively pursuing all available remedies for recovery.
