EIL to Expand Africa's Biggest Dangote Refinery by 1.4 Million Barrels Per Day

Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has been chosen by the Dangote Group as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and EPCM Consultant for the expansion of Africa's biggest Dangote Refinery. The refinery, which currently has a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, will be expanded to 1.4 million barrels per day. This expansion will produce Euro VI grade fuels and expand Polypropylene production. The contract is valued at over US $ 350 Million. Once completed, this expansion will position Dangote as the world’s largest petroleum refinery, strengthening fuel production within Africa, reducing reliance on imports, and supporting regional energy security.
