
Equippp Social Impact Technologies Ltd Enters MOU with KITS & BFSI Consortium to Address BFSI Skill Gap in Karnataka
Equippp Social Impact Technologies Ltd has entered into a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka, and the BFSI Consortium. The MOU aims to address the critical skill gap in Karnataka’s Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector by introducing BFSI-focused minor degree programs across engineering and graduate colleges in Karnataka. The partnership will train 10,000 students in the first phase of the pilot program, equipping them with domain knowledge, technological expertise, and behavioral skills tailored to meet the evolving needs of the BFSI industry. Equippp will act as the Strategic Impact Partner, ensuring the financial and operational sustainability of the program. The EQUIPPP Skill Portal will monitor student progress, measure program outcomes, and facilitate placements in the BFSI sector. Equippp, through its asset management arm, DESI, will support the program for the next three years using an innovative outcome-based revolving fund.
