Escorts Kubota Limited Reports 1.6% YoY Growth in Tractor Sales and 37.6% Decline in Construction Equipment Sales for May 2025

Escorts Kubota Limited, a leading engineering conglomerate in India, announced its sales volumes for May 2025. The Agri Machinery Business Division sold 10,354 tractors, representing a 1.6% year-over-year (YoY) growth. Domestic tractor sales were at 9,703 tractors, down by 2.1% YoY, while export tractor sales were at 651 tractors, up by 71.3% YoY. The Construction Equipment Business Division sold 321 machines, a 37.6% YoY decline. The company attributes the decline in construction equipment sales to price escalation due to changes in emission norms, an early monsoon, and delay in infrastructure projects deployment. However, the company expects demand to gradually increase in the latter half of the fiscal year.
