Euro Panel Products Ltd, through its brand EUROBOND, has commissioned a new 2.2 MW solar plant in Surat, bringing its total cumulative captive solar infrastructure to 3.6 MW. This expansion allows the company to offset 50% of its power requirements, a significant increase from its previous 20% offset capability. The new plant is designed to generate 30 lakh units of clean electricity annually, reducing reliance on conventional power grids and cutting carbon emissions. This initiative is part of the company's broader sustainability roadmap, which includes Zero Liquid Discharge operations and comprehensive recycling efforts. The company's Whole Time Director and CFO, Mr. Divyam Shah, emphasized the strategic importance of this investment in building a more responsible and resilient business while enhancing manufacturing efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
