
Everest Industries Invests in Amplus Ampere Private Limited for Renewable Energy
Everest Industries Ltd. has approved an investment of Rs. 1.76 crores in Amplus Ampere Private Limited ('Amplus') through the acquisition of 17,60,000 equity shares at a face value of Rs. 10/- per share. The investment aims to avail 5.5 MWp solar power under a group captive policy from Amplus' solar plant. Amplus is a renewable energy company engaged in setting up, generating, and distributing power from solar power plants in India, with a present paid-up capital of Rs. 1,00,000 and NIL turnover during FY 2024-25. Everest Industries will acquire 30% of Amplus Ampere Private Limited, representing 3.12% of the equity shareholding, and will gain control over 5.5 MWp out of the total capacity of 54.94Mw of the Amplus Ampere Private Limited solar plant.
