Federal-Mogul Goetze (India) Ltd announced that its Board of Directors has approved a proposal for capacity addition across three locations: Bahadurgarh - Patiala (Punjab), Yelahanka - Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Bhiwadi (Rajasthan). The company plans to add 8.15M Rings of CI Ring capacity, 5.04M Ring sets of Steel Ring PVD capacity, 3.96M pistons of Piston capacity, and 3.24M units of Engine Valve. Additionally, 6M Valve guides and 6M Valve seats will be added. This expansion is expected to be completed within 18 months, requiring an investment of ₹3,351 Million, financed through internal accruals. The rationale cited is the growth in demand and the improvement of the company's manufacturing footprint in India. Existing capacity utilization is at 100%.
