Fortis Healthcare Emerges as Successful Bidder in Fortis Marks Public Auction

Fortis Healthcare Ltd has emerged as the successful bidder in the public auction for the Fortis trademarks and allied marks (Fortis Marks) held by certain entities owned and controlled by the erstwhile promoters of the Company. The auction was conducted as per the order of the Hon’ble Delhi High Court, which had ordered for the sale of the Fortis Marks by way of public auction to satisfy a decree in favour of Daiichi Sankyo Company Limited. The Company bid INR 200 crores for the Fortis Marks and has been confirmed as the successful bidder by the Delhi High Court. The sale includes all attendant rights and liabilities in favour of the Company pursuant to the public auction process.
