Fortis Hospotel Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare Ltd, has signed definitive agreements with Seth Sunder Lal Jain Charitable Eye Hospital (SLJ Society). The agreement facilitates the construction, upgrade, and operation of a 400+ bed super specialty hospital in Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. Fortis Hospotel will provide healthcare services and clinical manpower under a 29-year Healthcare Services Agreement, with an option to extend. SLJ Society will own and develop the hospital, while Fortis will provide a phased loan for construction. The hospital is expected to commence operations in 3-4 years and will offer tertiary and quaternary healthcare services, including provisions for Economically Weaker Sections.
