Fredun Pharmaceuticals Limited (FPL) has acquired Furlicks, a pet-wellness brand specializing in oral-strip solutions, from USV & Wellbeing Nutrition. This strategic acquisition marks FPL's entry into India's growing pet wellness market. The move aims to leverage FPL's manufacturing, R&D, and distribution capabilities to scale Furlicks, which offers products for skin and coat, gut health, joint care, and more. FPL plans to introduce 12 new SKUs in the first phase and expand Furlicks into a comprehensive pet-wellness platform. The acquisition aligns with the increasing trend of pet parents investing in preventive health and specialized products for their pets.
