G R Infraprojects: NTPC Invokes ₹90.86 Cr Bank Guarantees

G R Infraprojects Ltd has announced that NTPC Limited has invoked a Mobilization Advance Bank Guarantee of Rs. 49,52,59,040 issued by HDFC Bank and three Insurance Performance Surety Bonds totaling Rs. 41,33,70,998 issued by Bajaj General Insurance. These invocations are related to contract numbers CS-9575-171A-9-FC-COA-7978, CS-9575-171A-9-SC-COA-7979, and CS-9575-171A-9-TC-COA-7980, for which G R Infraprojects had issued a notice of termination on September 15, 2026. The company is currently examining the matter, evaluating its legal and contractual remedies, and states that there is no material impact on its business operations at present. The total amount invoked is Rs. 90.86 crore.
