GRSE Accorded 'Navratna' Status by Govt.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) has been officially accorded 'Navratna' status by the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. This significant milestone, effective June 19, 2026, recognizes GRSE's strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and contributions to national security. The company's revenue from operations surged by nearly 300% from ₹1,754 crore in FY 2021-22 to ₹7,002 crore in FY 2025-26, with Profit After Tax (PAT) growing by approximately 294% from ₹190 crore to ₹748 crore in the same period. This 'Navratna' status empowers GRSE with enhanced investment capabilities and operational expansion opportunities, aligning with the 'Atmanirbharta' and 'Make in India' initiatives. GRSE has also been active in delivering warships and pursuing expansion projects.
