Garden Reach Shipbuilders Signs MoUs for Warship Design and Dredger Construction

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) has entered into two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). The first is with DNV (Det Norske Veritas) to enhance expertise in warship design, shipbuilding, and marine engineering, leveraging DNV's global capabilities in classification, certification, digitalization, and sustainability. The second MoU is with Damen Technical Cooperation B.V., Netherlands, to establish a framework for the design and construction of dredgers for the Indian market, combining GRSE's shipbuilding capacity with Damen's expertise in Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD) and Water Injection Dredgers (WID). Both MoUs currently have no ascertained financial implications. These partnerships aim to strengthen GRSE's technological capabilities and contribute to India's maritime and defense shipbuilding sectors.
