GeeCee Ventures: Income Tax Appeal Dismissed, ₹19.22 Cr Demand Stands

GeeCee Ventures Ltd announced that its appeal against an Income Tax assessment order has been dismissed by the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals). The order dated May 11, 2023, had added Rs. 19.22 crores to the company's income for Assessment Year 2016-17. The company received the dismissal order on June 3, 2026. GeeCee Ventures plans to file a further appeal with the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) and believes it has a strong case with no expected material adverse financial impact.
