Genus Shareholders Trust acquires 5.89% stake in Genus Prime Infra

Genus Shareholders Trust, a promoter group entity, has disclosed the acquisition of 45,90,642 equity shares, representing a 5.89% stake in Genus Prime Infra Ltd. This acquisition was made pursuant to a Scheme of Arrangement sanctioned by NCLT, which involved the demerger of the Strategic Investment Business of Genus Power Infrastructures Limited into Genus Prime Infra Limited. Following this acquisition, the equity share capital of Genus Prime Infra Ltd increased from 14,926,440 shares to 77,977,210 shares. The disclosure was made under Regulation 29(1) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
