GHCL Q1 FY27 Net Profit Jumps 32% to ₹191 Cr

GHCL Limited announced its unaudited standalone financial results for Q1 FY27, reporting a 3% decrease in Net Revenue to ₹798 crores from ₹823 crores in Q1 FY26. However, EBIDTA saw a 4% increase to ₹233 crores, and Net Profit surged by 32% to ₹191 crores compared to ₹145 crores in the prior year's corresponding quarter. The company cited operational execution, better realization, and lower input costs for improved margins, despite global geopolitical volatility and shipping disruptions affecting the soda ash market. GHCL is advancing its Bromine and Vacuum Salt projects, expected to commence commercial operations in Q2 FY27, while its greenfield soda ash project progresses slowly. The company remains focused on cost discipline and strategic diversification.
