Gland Pharma Appoints Deepak Sapra as New CEO

Gland Pharma Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr. Deepak Sapra as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective November 16, 2026. This decision was approved by the Board based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Sapra brings extensive experience, with 27 years in executive roles, including over 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He currently serves as the CEO of API and Services at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited and is a Board Member of Aurigene Pharma Services. His background includes global portfolio strategy, B2B business leadership, revenue growth, market expansion, and M&A across various international markets. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Management, with further studies at the University of Bradford and Carnegie Mellon University.
