Glen Industries Postpones Commercial Production to Q3 FY27

Glen Industries Ltd has announced a postponement in the commencement of its commercial production. Originally slated for Q4 FY25-26 and later revised to Q2 FY26-27, the production is now expected to begin by Q3 of FY 2026-27. This delay is attributed to significant setbacks in obtaining building plan approvals due to local elections and administrative delays in the Zila Parishad. Additionally, the onset of the monsoon season is anticipated to hinder construction progress, and power sanctioning has also faced delays. Despite these challenges, key project milestones such as land conversion, site preparation, and obtaining essential regulatory approvals (NOC from Pollution Control Board, Fire NOC) are complete. Orders for plant and machinery have largely been placed, with remaining items expected by August 2026.
