
Global Health to acquire 79-bed cancer hospital in Indore for ₹30 Cr
Global Health Ltd (GHL) announced its Board's approval for the acquisition of a 79-bedded Cancer Care Hospital in Indore. The hospital, currently owned and operated by Asian Institute of Oncology Private Limited (AIOPL), will be acquired as a business undertaking for a cash consideration of ₹30 crores. This strategic move will add the facility to Medanta's network, strengthening its presence in the region and enhancing its oncology services. The target hospital, with a turnover of ₹19.9 million for FY 2024-25, is located close to GHL's existing Indore facility, promising seamless integration and operational synergies. The acquisition is subject to necessary statutory and customary approvals, with an expected completion well before the long stop date of September 30, 2026. Funding will be a mix of internal accruals and debt.
