Global Health Limited, one of the largest private multi-specialty tertiary care providers in the North and East regions of India, has announced its entry into the North East with plans to establish a super speciality hospital in Guwahati. The Board of Directors has approved the purchase of 3 acres of land from Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Ltd. for Rs. 30 crore plus incidental expenses and plans to invest approximately Rs. 500 crores in developing the hospital. The hospital will offer comprehensive care across more than 20 super specialties, including transplants and advanced robotic procedures, and is expected to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and serve over 50 million people across Assam and its neighbouring states.
