GMR Airports Granted Concession to Operate Existing Cargo Terminal at IGI Airport After Celebi's Security Clearance Revoked
GMR Airports Limited has been granted the concession to operate, maintain, and manage the existing cargo terminal at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport), New Delhi. This decision comes after the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Government of India (GOI), revoked the security clearance of Celebi group entities operating in India, with immediate effect, in the interest of National Security. DIAL, a subsidiary company, terminated the existing concession agreement with Celebi and granted the concession to GMR Airports, ensuring business continuity. This related party transaction is on an arms-length basis, with no direct interest from promoter/promoter group/group companies, other than their indirect shareholding in both DIAL and GMR Airports.
