GMR Airports Handles 48.7 Mn Pax in YTD FY26, Up 0.5% YoY; Delhi Airport Expected to Transcend After Runway 10/28 Re-opens

GMR Airports Ltd, in its monthly traffic update for August 2025, reported handling over 48.7 million passengers in the YTD FY26, representing a 0.5% year-over-year (YoY) growth. The international traffic increased by 2.8% YoY, while domestic traffic declined by 0.9% YoY. The total traffic remained in the positive trajectory and is expected to transcend further with the re-opening of Delhi Airport's Runway 10/28 in October 2025 and operationalization of refurbished Terminal 2. Delhi Airport achieved remarkable milestones in operational performance and Hyderabad Airport reached new heights in passenger traffic. However, Medan (Indonesia) and Cebu (Philippines) airports experienced a decline in traffic due to temporary disruptions and supply-side constraints.
