GMR Airports Serves 58 Million Passengers in H1 FY26, Traffic Remains Positive Despite Challenges

GMR Airports Ltd served approximately 58 million passengers in the first half of the financial year 2026. The traffic remained resilient with overall consistent growth year over year. However, there was a muted growth in traffic, specifically domestic traffic, in May 2025 to September 2025 due to temporary disruptions in flight operations caused by changed airspace conditions amid series of geopolitical events and Runway 10/28 upgradation at Delhi Airport. The enhanced runway has re-opened on 16 September 2025. The upgraded Terminal 2 is set to become operational from 26 October 2025. Delhi Airport handled the highest-ever cargo volumes of ~0.56 Million Metric Tonnes in H1 FY26, up 2.8% YoY. The airport is also focusing on upscaling non-aero offerings and enhancing passenger experience with various initiatives.
