GMR Airports: Traffic Handled Surpasses 30.1 Million in Q1 FY2026, Up 3.3% YoY

GMR Airports has reported a resilient traffic performance in June 2025, handling 19,086,536 passengers across all its airports, a 3.3% increase compared to the same period last year. The total traffic for Q1 FY2026 reached 30,157,446 passengers. The domestic traffic saw a 2.9% YoY growth, while international traffic excluding Cebu increased by 0.9% YoY. However, there was a muted growth in traffic specifically in May’25 and Jun’25 due to temporary disruptions in flight operations caused by changed airspace conditions amid geopolitical events and Runway 10/28 upgradation at Delhi Airport. Medan airport traffic has been affected by supply-side constraints as a portion of the aircraft fleet remains grounded due to maintenance-related issues.
