GMR Airports reported a 0.9% year-over-year increase in passenger traffic for August 2026, serving 9.4 million passengers across its portfolio. Domestic traffic grew by 1.1% to 7.1 million, while international traffic saw a 0.5% rise to 2.4 million. Year-to-date (YTD) FY27, the company has handled 49 million passengers, marking its highest-ever YTD total and domestic passenger numbers. Delhi Airport (DEL) reported its highest-ever YTD volumes for total, domestic, and international passengers, as well as aircraft movements and cargo throughput. Hyderabad Airport (HYD) saw its 4th CP Tariff Order issued, and Bhogapuram Airport commenced commercial operations on August 17, 2026. Muted international traffic growth was attributed to geopolitical instability in West Asia, and subdued domestic growth to airline route rationalization.
