
GMR Airports Wins Delhi Cargo Terminal 1 Concession with Estimated Revenue Share of Rs. 340 Cr. in First Full Year
GMR Airports Limited (GAL) has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) for upgrading, modernizing, financing, operating, managing, and maintaining the Cargo Terminal 1 at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. The concession was granted on an interim basis to GAL after the termination of the existing cargo concession Agreement with M/s Celebi. DIAL initiated a competitive bidding process in November 2025, and GAL emerged as the Selected Bidder. The project is based on a revenue share payment model to DIAL for an initial period of up to year 2036, with an estimated revenue share of Rs. 340 Cr. in the first full year of operations. This transaction is a related party transaction, conducted on arms-length basis, with no direct interest from promoter/promoter group/group companies, other than their indirect shareholding in both DIAL and GAL.
