Go Digit General Insurance Limited (GDGIL) has updated its draft Scheme of Amalgamation with Go Digit Infoworks Services Private Limited (GDISPL). The update, advised by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), specifically incorporates Section 35 of the Insurance Act, 1938, along with its rules and regulations. This modification is purely for regulatory compliance and does not alter the material substance of the scheme or previous submissions. The revised scheme remains subject to approvals from the National Company Law Tribunal, IRDAI, and shareholders.
