Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd Receives Consent to Operate at Enhanced Capacity of Sponge Iron and HB Wire Divisions

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd has announced the receipt of a Consent to Operate from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board. This consent allows the company to operate its Sponge Iron Division (SID) at an enhanced capacity of 650,000 Metric Tons per annum (MTPA), up from the previous 594,000 MTPA. Similarly, the HB Wire Division can now operate at 115,000 MTPA, an increase from the previous 100,000 MTPA. The company noted that no modifications or additional investments are required to operate both plants at these enhanced capacities, which can be implemented immediately.
