Godrej Consumer Products Inaugurates 4th Manufacturing Unit at Malanpur

Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has inaugurated its fourth manufacturing unit at Malanpur, Madhya Pradesh. The new facility represents an investment of over ₹480 crore, bringing the cumulative investment at the Malanpur site to over ₹850 crore. This expansion makes the Malanpur plant Asia's largest integrated soap manufacturing facility, with a capacity to produce up to 4,000 soap bars per minute. The expanded unit will produce a range of products including soaps, hair colours, and household insecticides. GCPL expects this expansion to generate a turnover of INR 3,800 crore once fully operational. The facility is designed with a focus on automation, digitization, and environmental responsibility, adhering to IGBC guidelines.
