GPT Infra subsidiary wins ₹385 Cr contract for railway sleepers

GPT Infraprojects Limited announced that its subsidiary, GPT Concrete Products South Africa (Pty) Limited, has secured a contract valued at ZAR 660 Million plus VAT (approximately ₹385 Crores plus VAT) from Transnet Freight Rail, South Africa. The contract involves the manufacture of Railway Concrete Sleepers and is to be executed over a period of 5 years. This international contract contributes to GPT Infra's ongoing order book, which now stands at ₹5,377 Crore. The company operates in Infrastructure and Sleeper segments, with manufacturing units in India and Africa.
