Gravita India Plans ₹64 Cr Copper Recycling Plant in Gujarat

Gravita India Limited announced plans to establish a new copper recycling plant in Mundra, Gujarat. The facility will add 59,200 MTPA of copper recycling capacity, funded by internal accruals with a capital expenditure of approximately ₹64 crores. This expansion aims to bolster non-ferrous metal recycling capabilities, serve as backward integration for a proposed Mandvi plant, and capitalize on growing demand for recycled copper. The project is expected to be commissioned in phases by March 31, 2029, enhancing Gravita's position in the circular economy and leveraging the strategic port proximity of Mundra.
