
Gravita India Starts Aluminum Recycling in Ghana with 4,000 MTPA Capacity
Gravita India Limited, a leading recycling company, has announced that its step-down subsidiary in Ghana, Recyclers Ghana Limited, has started commercial production of recycled aluminum alloys from a new recycling plant with an annual capacity of 4,000 MTPA in phase-I. The company plans to increase the capacity to 8,000 MTPA. This is in line with the company's vision of replicating the recycling business in different geographies. The company has invested approximately Rs. 6.75 Crores in phase-I for procurement and commissioning of the said Recycling Plant. The plant will cater to the needs of automobiles and die casting industries situated in Europe & Asia, thereby changing the sales mix by increasing the contribution from aluminum business.
