
Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd. Reports 10% Increase in Q2 Sales Revenue, EBITDA Up by 7%
Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd. (GACL) has announced its financial results for the quarter ended 30th September, 2025. The company reported a 10% increase in sales revenue, which stood at Rs.1063 Crores compared to Rs.966 Crores for the same quarter last year. The increase was due to higher production across major products, better sales realization for major revenue earning product groups, and increased capacity utilization of various plants. The company also reported a 7% increase in EBITDA for the quarter, which stood at Rs.133 Crores compared to Rs.124 Crores for the same quarter last year. The EBITDA for the half year has increased by 28% to Rs.258 Crores compared to Rs.201 Crores for the corresponding period of the previous year. The company has continued its efforts to enhance operating efficiency, cost cutting, optimum capacity utilization, and enhancement of green energy. GACL-NALCO Alkalies & Chemicals Private Limited, a material subsidiary of the Company, has earned its maiden Profit before Tax of Rs.10 lacs during the second quarter of Financial Year 2025-26.
