Gujarat Industries Power Appoints Dr. Rajender Kumar as Additional Director

Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd announced the appointment of Dr. Rajender Kumar, IAS, Managing Director of Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited, as an Additional Director (Nominee of GSFC). The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors on September 19, 2026, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Dr. Kumar is an experienced IAS officer with a background in public administration and policy, having served in various capacities within the Government of India and as an Advisor to the World Bank. He is not related to any existing directors and is not debarred from holding directorships.
