GIPCL Appoints Smt. Shalini Agarwal as Additional Director

Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd (GIPCL) announced the appointment of Smt. Shalini Agarwal, IAS (DIN: 08172014), as an Additional Director, effective April 22, 2026. She will serve as a Nominee of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). The appointment was recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. Smt. Agarwal is currently the Managing Director of GUVNL and Director of Gujarat Fibre Grid Network Limited. She has a distinguished career in urban governance, revenue administration, and energy management within the Government of Gujarat, holding various key positions including Municipal Commissioner in Vadodara and Surat, and District Collector in multiple districts. She is not related to any existing directors and is not debarred by SEBI.
