Gujarat Natural Resources Limited Alters Main Object Clause to Include Electricity Generation, Transmission, and Renewable Energy Solutions

The Board of Directors of Gujarat Natural Resources Limited held a meeting on Friday, 7th February, 2025, and approved the alteration in the Main Object Clause of Memorandum of Association. The new objects include managing, supervising, and controlling the business of transmitting, supplying, generating, distributing, and dealing in electricity and all forms of energy and power generated by any source. The company will also carry out the business of manufacturing, trading, importing, exporting, installing, and operating solar systems for energy generation, including Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal, Solar Chimney, and other solar-based devices. The Board has authorized Mr. Shalin Shah, Managing Director, and Ms. Barkha Lakhani, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, to submit the application to the relevant authorities for the establishment of the wind/solar/hybrid park and to execute all other necessary preliminary activities in connection with this project.
