Gujarat Natural Resources Limited to Commence INR 69 Crore Drilling Campaign

Gujarat Natural Resources Limited (GNRL) and its step-down subsidiary, GNRL Oil & Gas Limited (GOGL), are set to begin a significant 7-well drilling campaign this February 2025. The estimated cost of the campaign is INR 69 crores (USD 8 million). The campaign will primarily focus on the Kanwara development block, with plans to drill 3 wells up to 1800 meters deep. Additionally, one well each will be drilled in GNRL and GOGL’s 100% owned blocks, including North Kathana, Dholasan, Alora, and Unawa. GOGL is currently producing 20,000 SCMD of gas and 120 barrels of oil per day. With successful testing results, the company aims to upgrade its oil equivalent in-place reserves, exceeding 20 million barrels, to the proven category during this drilling campaign. Preparations for the drilling campaign are progressing smoothly, with nearly all equipment and third-party services secured.
