
Hatsun Agro Plans ₹1,000 Cr Capex for FY27 Expansion
Hatsun Agro Product Ltd (HAP), India's largest private sector dairy company, has announced plans to invest approximately ₹1,000 crore in FY27. The capital expenditure will be allocated towards expanding milk procurement and distribution networks, revamping production facilities, and enhancing marketing efforts. This investment aligns with the company's goal to increase daily product pack sales to 2.4 crore within two years, up from the current 1.84 crore. HAP reported revenues of ₹9,959 crore in FY26, a 14.5% increase, and achieved 19% growth in Q1FY27, with projections to reach ₹12,000 crore in FY27 if growth sustains. The company also highlighted its strong margins due to a direct procurement and distribution model without middlemen and plans to launch new protein-rich drinks and ice-cream variants soon. Store presence is expected to grow from 4,100 to over 5,000 outlets by FY-end.
