HCL Infosystems Faces CGST Appeal at Allahabad High Court

HCL Infosystems Limited has informed the stock exchange that the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) department has filed an appeal before the Hon'ble Allahabad High Court. This appeal challenges a previous order by the Hon'ble CESTAT, Allahabad, which had set aside a demand of ₹312.34 Crores plus interest and penalty against the company. The matter is currently at the admission stage, with no interim orders passed. HCL Infosystems believes it has a strong case and will continue to defend the proceedings.
