HCL Infosystems Wins Arbitration Case Against UIDAI, Awarded INR 102.81 Crore

HCL Infosystems Limited has received a final Arbitration Award in its favor, amounting to approximately INR 102.81 Crore, including interest and future interest, in the arbitration filed against Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). The award disallows UIDAI's counterclaims worth INR 72.71 Crore. The Company had invoked arbitration for recovery of its dues towards rendering MSP Services during the extended period from 07.08.2019 till 06.08.2021. The parties have the right to file objections against the award before the appropriate court of law.
