HCLTech Achieves 2030 Emissions Targets 4 Years Early

HCLTech reported significant progress in FY26 against its sustainability goals, achieving a 55.84% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from its FY20 baseline, four years ahead of its 2030 target. The company also reduced its total emissions footprint by 27.7% and increased renewable energy usage to 49.79% of total consumption. HCLTech leads in water stewardship with 51x water replenishment and an industry-low consumption rate of 10.68 liters per capita per day. Investments in employee well-being were 2.08% of revenue in FY26, the highest in the IT industry. The company also continued community initiatives through HCLFoundation, impacting over 8.4 million lives in India.
